The MEPRI Steering Committee — plus a small group of additional organizations chosen to better reflect the diversity of Maine — contribute educational materials and join informational panels. They support the learning phase but don't take part in deliberations or decisions. That's the delegates' job.

The deliberation platform
The Assembly uses Comhairle, a structured deliberation platform built in Scotland by CrownShy. It is not used for open-ended advocacy or real-time debate. Partners in Democracy supports the integration of the technology and helps ensure delegates have a smooth experience.
